Job summary

Wholesale Electric Supply Co Of Hou in Louisiana seeks an Inside Sales Representative to build and maintain relationships with customers, selling electrical products and services. You will answer questions, recommend products, and prepare quotes while coordinating orders with suppliers.

The position requires 5 years of sales experience in the Electrical Distribution Industry; high school diploma required, college degree preferred. Full-time, with Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm schedule.

Qualifications

• 5 years of sales experience in the Electrical Distribution Industry.
• Industrial Contractor Sales experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answering customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
• Recommending products to customers based on their needs and interests.
• Contacting regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products and solicit orders.
• Estimating or quoting prices with delivery dates.
• Consulting with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
• Preparing estimates and bids that meet customer needs.
• Forwarding orders to manufacturers.
• Performing additional assignments at the direction of the supervisor.
