Job summary

Eversource is seeking a qualified Supervisor to lead line crews in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electric distribution systems. The role emphasizes safety, equipment and record-keeping, and mentoring field staff to maintain high standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years as a Line-worker I, and a Class A CDL with a Special Trailer Endorsement. Emergency readiness and NH travel are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and ability to apply electrical theory.
• Complete working understanding of Eversource line work practices and policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervises line crews in installation, maintenance and repairs of underground and overhead electric distribution systems.
• Oversees equipment, materials, and record-keeping including time sheets and tailboard documentation.
• Trains, instructs, and mentors Line-workers to ensure safety rules and procedures are followed.
• Evaluates performance and initiates additional training or corrective action as needed.
• Coordinates and schedules work assignments; manages inspections of tailboards, trucks and trailers.
• Provides first response coverage to off-hour emergencies and investigates and corrects issues.
