Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years as Line-worker I; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must live within 30 minutes of Area Work Center; travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervises line crews involved in installation, maintenance and repairs of the distribution system.
• Oversees equipment, materials, and record-keeping duties including time sheets and tailboard documentation.
• Trains, instructs, and mentors Line-workers to ensure safety rules are followed.
• Evaluates performance and initiates training or corrective action to meet standards.
• Coordinates and schedules work assignments.
• Conducts tailboards and inspections of trucks and trailers.
• Responds to emergency trouble calls and ensures proper staffing.
