Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Field Supervisor-Lines to oversee line crews installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead and underground electrical distribution systems. The role requires a HS diploma, 3 years as Line-worker I, and a Class A CDL with Special Trailer Endorsement.

Travel between MA/CT/NH is required; overtime and emergency response duties are part of the job. Competitive compensation & benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years as Line-worker I (RG 34.5); supervisory experience preferred.
• Commercial Driver's license Class A with Special Trailer Endorsement required.
• Must live within 30 minutes of Area Work Center.
• Willingness to travel MA/CT/NH and work overtime as needed.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervises line crews in installation, maintenance and repairs of electric distribution systems.
• Oversees equipment, materials, and records including timesheets and tailboard docs.
• Trains and mentors Line-workers to ensure safety rules are followed.
• Evaluates performance and initiates training or corrective action as needed.
• Coordinates and schedules work assignments; conducts tailboards and vehicle inspections.
• Provides first response coverage for off-hour emergencies and staffing as required.
• Ensures work is on schedule, within budget, and complies with policies.
• Interacts with emergency services to maintain a safe work environment.
