Qualifications

• Current student or enrolled in a graduate program.
• Enrolled in an ABET accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, or chemical engineering.
• Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours/week) or part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours/week) and commute to the designated work location in-person.

Responsibilities

• Electric Distribution Standards covers Overhead Distribution, Underground Distribution, Outdoor Lighting, Communication, Underground Network and EV charging standards.
• Support engineering staff with various projects in relation to these areas.
• Research relevant industry standards and how electric distribution equipment is used in the field.
• The intern will gain in-depth knowledge of the electric distribution system as part of the internship.
