Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking an Electrical Designer to support electrical system development and panel design for manufacturing operations. You will create electrical design packages, select components, prepare detailed schematics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet production requirements.

The role emphasizes low voltage switchgear design, BOM creation, and iteration through ECOs while maintaining documentation and version control.

Competenze

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design Technology, or related field.
3 years of experience in electrical drafting or design, preferably in switchgear or related industry.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor.

Mansioni

Create designs specific to low voltage switchgear assemblies/systems, replacement breakers, and related equipment.
Work under the supervision of electrical engineers to develop electrical schematics, panel layout, and wiring diagrams that meet customer, manufacturing, regulatory, and project requirements.
Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), wire lists, and terminal block drawings.
Follow and develop standard design processes and documentation to improve quality and efficiency in engineering design.
Support engineering change orders (ECOs) and revise existing designs to improve manufacturability, cost, or performance.
Maintain proper version control and documentation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
