GEM Technologies, Inc. seeks an Electrical Designer to join the Y-12 National Security Complex team in Oak Ridge, Tennessee with hybrid flexibility.

You will draft one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, lighting and power plans, installation details, and control diagrams using Bentley MicroStation, collaborating with electrical engineers and CAD drafters. The role requires experience with low and medium voltage power distribution, NFPA 70, NFPA 79, UL508A, and the ability to obtain a government

Competenze

• Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution and industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and UL508A.
• Drafting in Bentley MicroStation: wiring diagrams, one-line diagrams, lighting/power plans.
• Collaborates with electrical engineers and CAD drafters.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government clearance.

Mansioni

• Draft in Bentley MicroStation: one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, lighting/power plans, installation details, Instrumentation and Controls Diagrams, conduit/cable schedules, fire alarm and communication drawings.
• Prepare data sheets, specifications, and walkdown reports.
• Support construction and operational activities related to design outputs.
• Field walkdowns will be required sometimes in radiological contaminated areas.
• Work with electrical engineers and other CAD drafters from the same work group.
