Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an Electrical Designer to join a project team focused on designing, modifying and upgrading power plant electrical systems in a hybrid work setting (office and remote).

You will work under the Electrical Project Lead with multi-discipline teams to develop single-line diagrams, relay and metering diagrams, AC/DC schematics, wire diagrams and cable schedules, review drawings, troubleshoot issues, and mentor junior drafters while potentially supporting field data

Qualifications

• 3D visualization of parts and assemblies.
• Ability to multi-task from project to project.
• Experience with drafting tools and 3D visualization.

Responsibilities

• Work with project teams to develop electrical diagrams and cable schedules.
• Review and incorporate vendor drawings into the design.
• Troubleshoot and solve drafting design issues; mentor junior drafters.
