Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a drafter for our Nuclear Power Group in a hybrid work setting. You will develop electrical diagrams and cable schedules, review vendor drawings, and support field data collection.

The role emphasizes collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams and mentoring junior drafters in a dynamic project environment. Ideal candidates bring an Associate's Degree in a drafting-related field, strong MicroStation experience, and the ability to visualize 3D parts.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent technical design experience required.
• Advanced drafting experience using standard CAD tools (MicroStation).
• Ability to visualize parts in 3D without CAD aid; familiarity with 3D models is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop single-line diagrams, relay and metering diagrams, and AC/DC schematic drawings.
• Review drawings and incorporate vendor drawings into overall project design.
• Mentor less experienced drafters and provide drafting guidance to the team.
• Assist in field data collection and walkdowns as needed at client facilities.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary project teams under the Electrical Project Lead.
