Job summary

Glumac, a Tetra Tech Company, in San Francisco, CA, is seeking an Electrical Designer to contribute to innovative projects and support the electrical discipline. This role offers a hybrid work environment with two in-office days per week.

As an Electrical Designer, you will develop constructible electrical solutions, perform load calculations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from concept to construction. A BS in Engineering and REVIT proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an MEP Designer in the building construction industry.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• Proficiency in REVIT, showcasing your mastery of industry-leading design tools.
• Must be located within a commutable distance of the San Francisco, CA office.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position is not eligible for current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan electrical power systems for diverse projects.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and selection.
• Collaborate with architects, outside consultants, code officials, and contractors.
• Support construction administration tasks, including RFIs and submittals.
• Interface with code officials and contractors as needed.
• Work with project teams from concept through construction.
