Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electrical design, CAD proficiency, NEC expertise, and teamwork. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $130,000 per year with full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in electrical design in construction.
• Proficient with CAD software for electrical design and drafting.
• In-depth NEC knowledge and compliance with industry standards.
• Experience designing systems for high-performance buildings.
• Familiar with plumbing and mechanical systems relating to electrical design.
• Strong math/analytical skills for complex calculations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designing and drafting electrical systems for industrial and commercial buildings, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and security systems.
• Performing complex electrical calculations such as load balancing, voltage drop, and sub-bank calculations.
• Designing and specifying electrical conduits, wiring, and other components in accordance with the NEC.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other project team members to integrate electrical systems into overall building design.
• Reviewing and revising designs and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure the correct installation and operation of electrical systems.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for electrical systems during construction and post-occupancy phases.
• Continually updating knowledge of new technologies and industry trends to ensure our designs are cutting-edge and sustainable.
