Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in New York City with 6-10+ years of experience to design electrical building systems from schematics through construction administration. The role supports commercial, public sector, education, and civic projects, in a hybrid NYC setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET Accredited College or University.
• EIT or Licensed Professional Engineer Preferred (or ability to gain reciprocity).
• Proven experience designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.
• Proficient in Revit Software and BIM; able to develop electrical designs from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems from schematics through construction administration for diverse building types.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and calculations.
• Coordinate electrical design requirements with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
