• On-site requirement will vary based on team placement, as will expected working hours.
• This internship is a structured experiential learning program for individuals currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program who will continue their studies following the assignment. Current and continuing enrollment is a condition of participation. Responsibilities

• Assisting with configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of protection relays, RTUs, and HMIs.
• Supporting engineering design processes by working with AC/DC schematics, wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, signal lists, and communication network diagrams.
• Using digital twin technology to simulate and test protection relay signals in a virtual environment.
• Contributing to projects involving microgrids and renewable technologies, including photovoltaic and battery storage systems.
• Supporting the development of customer proposals by learning how technical scope translates into engineering effort, cost, and deliverables.
• Assisting with post-delivery project support, including warranty, issue resolution, and customer case coordination.
• Gaining hands-on experience with testing automation panels, supporting Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), and working in the Power & Automation laboratory.
• Building familiarity with Siemens electrical equipment including switchgear, MCCs, breakers, transformers, and related systems.

The Electrification and Automation (EA) division of Siemens Smart Infrastructure provides a full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for customers across all markets and channels. You’ll Benefit From

The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 per hour for first time Interns or $25.50 per hour for returning Interns. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
