Job summary

Vertiv's Anderson, SC facility designs and manufactures low voltage switchgear powering critical infrastructure. We seek an Electrical Design Engineer to join a collaborative, hands-on team in Anderson, SC.

You will work with experienced engineers on power distribution equipment, develop electrical schematics, and ensure compliance with applicable standards while supporting projects from concept through production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills with electrical control design experience.
• Knowledge of NEC, UL, ANSI, and IEEE standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with teams.
• Experience with electrical switchgear and controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for power distribution equipment.
• Prepare schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and network drawings.
• Perform circuit analysis and support product development through production.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, UL, ANSI, and IEEE standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical, automation, and manufacturing teams end-to-end.
