Job summary

Vertiv in Anderson, SC is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design LV power distribution for data center switchgear and switchboard lines. You will develop electrical designs from concept to release using 3D CAD and PLM systems, guiding cross-functional teams and supporting NPD and sustaining products.

You will work onsite at Vertiv's Anderson, SC office, reviewing requirements, and ensuring timely delivery across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of product development experience.
• Associate’s degree with minimum 7+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept and detailed design of power systems for LV distribution.
• Develop and assemble electrical drawing packages for review by the design team.
• Prepare electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and network drawings.
• Collaborate with mechanical and automation teams to resolve issues and meet timelines.
• Create customer-facing product submittal drawings for finished designs.
