Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates in Aiken, SC is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support the Savannah River Site. You will prepare one-line diagrams, load calculations, equipment connection details, cable schedules, and electrical specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in industrial electrical design, with knowledge of power distribution and interface design.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in electrical design for industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of power distribution and equipment interface design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare one-line diagrams, load calculations, equipment connection details, cable schedules, and electrical specifications.
• Support design changes to distribution systems, motor feeders, lighting, grounding, UPS-supported systems, and equipment power.
• Evaluate electrical impacts of new or modified process and facility equipment.
• Coordinate with I&C, mechanical, HVAC, and fire protection disciplines on integrated design changes.
• Support installation, testing, field verification, and as-built updates.
