Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates, LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer-(VFDs) to support the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC. The role focuses on motors, VFDs, MCCs, and power distribution with responsibility for design upgrades, testing, and safety analysis.

Requirements include a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and 5–20 years of related experience, preferably with nuclear/DOE facilities. The position is on-site at the Savannah River Site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering required
• 5–20 years in electrical engineering
• Experience with industrial electrical systems (VFDs, MCCs, low-voltage distribution)
• Nuclear/ DOE site experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for motors, VFDs, MCCs, and low-voltage power distribution systems.
• Review and approve system design changes/modifications.
• Oversee system operations, testing, and maintenance.
• Perform engineering calculations and develop reports.
• Resolve corrective actions and deficiencies in tracking system.
