Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates, based in Aiken, SC, is seeking an I&C Engineer to support the Savannah River Site. The role emphasizes engineering analysis, design development and generation of design output documents essential for safe, compliant operations.

The candidate will produce P&IDs, loop diagrams, setpoint lists, DCS/PLC designs, and associated installation designs, while reviewing vendor documents to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Nuclear, or I&C Engineering, or PE registered in one of these disciplines.
• Five years of design experience in nuclear or chemical process industries.
• Experience with PLCs and distributed control systems; field walk-down ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide support engineering services: analysis, design development and generation of design output documents.
• Design outputs include P&IDs, control logics, loop diagrams, setpoint lists, instrument and control valve specifications, DCS/PLC design, installation design, panel layouts and vendor document review.
