PFISTERER is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop and optimize products for high voltage underground cable systems, designing link boxes and related components, and adapting to customer-specific requirements.

You will work with international teams, coordinate testing, support root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement in quality and cost. Excellent communication in Italian and English is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in electrical design engineering; internships or academic projects considered for junior candidates.
• Knowledge of medium-voltage (MV) and/or high-voltage (HV) underground cable systems desirable.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in an international team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in Italian and English, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Develop and optimize existing products to meet global market requirements.
• Design and develop specialized link boxes and related components for high-voltage underground cable systems.
• Adapt and customize products according to customer-specific and country-specific requirements.
• Maintain and expand technical expertise in electrical and electromechanical components.
• Coordinate testing activities, including electrical and water immersion tests, with one laboratory resource.
• Support root cause analysis, failure investigation, and corrective actions related to product performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Production, and Project Management to ensure successful product delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, reliability, and cost optimization.
