SharkNinja in Needham, MA, offers a full-time 40-hour/week role for early-development engineers. You’ll design and test prototypes for next-gen Shark and Ninja products, collaborating with engineers and designers to bring concepts to functional reality. This paid position expects a strong EE focus and hands-on problem solving.

Education in Electrical Engineering and hands-on prototyping are valued. Onsite work in Needham, MA is required with no relocation assistance offered.

Competenze

• Current student in their third year or beyond of a bachelor's program, or pursuing a master's or doctoral, with Electrical Engineering focus.
• Must be able to work full-time onsite in Needham, MA.
• Exposure to motor control, sensor integration, embedded microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino), battery management, signal amplification, and switching power supplies.
• Working knowledge of C/C++ for microcontroller applications is a plus.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools and processes; quick-turn physical models are a bonus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Comfortable supporting software/firmware testing and development—experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of core physical and electrical engineering principles.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and translate concepts into tangible outcomes.
• Skilled at quickly developing visual and physical representations of new product concepts to communicate function and layout.
• Naturally curious, creatively driven, and eager to apply innovation and depth to real-world challenges.

Mansioni

• Contribute to development of concepts and technologies for the next generation of SharkNinja products.
• Support design and evaluation of early-stage prototypes using ECAD tools, simulation software, and breadboard circuits.
• Assist in building test fixtures and executing verification and validation tests for feasibility and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine designs for manufacturability, cost, and user experience.
• Apply creativity and engineering rigor to solve real-world problems and elevate product quality.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions shaping product direction.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and reduce production costs.
• Take part in fast-paced development cycles with input from day one.
• Gain exposure to SharkNinja's innovation process from idea to validation and iteration.
