Job summary

SharkNinja is seeking a highly curious Electrical Engineering student or recent grad to join our Advanced Development team in Needham, MA for a 6-month period. You will design and test early-stage prototypes for the next generation of Shark and Ninja products, working closely with engineers and cross-functional partners to bring concepts to life.

You'll build circuits, test fixtures, and participate in verification and validation activities, with opportunities to influence manufacturability,

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering student or recent grad with focus in EE.
• Full-time, 40 hours/week onsite in Needham, MA.
• Exposure to motor control, sensor integration, embedded microcontrollers, battery management, signal amplification, and switching power supplies.
• C/C++ for microcontroller applications is a plus.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools and quick-turn physical models is a bonus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas and translate concepts into tangible outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of early-stage prototypes for next-gen Shark/Ninja products.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to turn concepts into functional hardware.
• Build test fixtures and run verification/validation tests to assess feasibility and performance.
• Support design-for-manufacturability, cost optimization, and user experience improvements.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions to influence product direction.
