Job summary

Helix Electric is seeking an Electrical Craft Recruiter to support field operations by sourcing, assessing, and deploying licensed and unlicensed electricians, apprentices, helpers, and laborers across Arizona. This role partners with Field Leadership to ensure staffing aligns with project needs and schedules, including conducting in-person skills assessments and leading manpower planning meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction or skilled trades.
• Experience recruiting field employees, craft professionals, or tradespeople.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction trades, workforce planning, and staffing in project environments.
• Experience with interviews, candidate evaluation, and trade-related competencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for electrical craft positions including Journeyman Electricians, Licensed Electricians, Apprentices, Electrical Helpers, Laborers, Leads.
• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract craft talent across Arizona.
• Source candidates through referrals, trade schools, job boards, social media, and industry events.
• Conduct screenings, interviews, references, and hiring recommendations.
• Coordinate and administer in-person electrical skills assessments and practical trade evaluations.
• Lead manpower planning meetings with project leadership to align staffing with project demands.
• Maintain regular communication with site supervisors regarding labor needs and performance.
