Job summary

Helix Electric is seeking a Craft Trainer to deliver high-quality craft and safety training for electricians nationwide. The role combines classroom, on-the-job, and blended learning that aligns with company standards and industry best practices.

Travel across the United States is required. The trainer will develop curricula, support licensing preparation, and mentor tradespeople to build skills and confidence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years’ field experience installing and/or maintaining electrical systems.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician License; multiple state licenses preferred.
• NCCER Certified Instructor or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction training.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Associate degree or completion of an apprenticeship preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging craft and safety training for employees.
• Assist in designing craft and safety training curriculum.
• Apply instructional best practices to maximize retention.
• Visit job sites nationwide to assess skill gaps and train.
• Provide test prep, coaching, and mentoring for licensing.
• Manage training equipment, classrooms, and resources.
• Track participation and outcomes, generate program reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
