Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an experienced electrical craft professional to join the DFW Training Center as a Craft Instructor - Electrical. This hands-on instructional role works with learners through classroom instruction, demonstrations and labs, leveraging real-world field experience to teach how electrical work is planned, executed and checked.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and developing the next generation of craft professionals.

Qualifications

• Substantial electrical craft knowledge with field experience.
• Experience reading drawings, specs and installation methods.
• Journeyman Electrician preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Ability to teach, coach and develop craft employees.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical craft training through classroom instruction, demonstrations and hands-on labs.
• Translate field experience into practical instruction for learners.
• Personally demonstrate electrical construction activities using tools and methods.
• Explain installation challenges and safety/quality expectations using field examples.
• Observe learner performance and adjust instructional approach.
• Provide coaching and assess learner readiness.
