Job summary

Helix Electric Inc. is seeking a Craft Trainer to deliver high-quality craft and safety training for electricians nationwide. The role requires classroom, on-the-job, and blended learning delivery, with extensive travel and adaptability to various job-site conditions.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years field experience, holds a Journeyman or Master Electrician license, and is NCCER certified (or commit to certification within 6 months). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and extensive field experience installing/maintaining electrical systems.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician License; multiple state licenses preferred.
• NCCER Certified Instructor or ability to achieve certification within 6 months of hire.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction, First Aid/CPR certifications are required or preferred.
• Experience designing/adapting training content and delivering craft training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging craft and safety training for employees at all levels.
• Assist design and development of craft and safety training curriculum.
• Apply instructional best practices to maximize knowledge retention.
• Travel nationwide to observe performance and deliver corrective training.
• Provide test preparation, coaching, and mentoring for licensing and certification.
• Manage training equipment, classrooms, and resources to support learning.
