Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC is seeking a customer-focused associate to greet walk-in customers, assist with product selection, and process sales orders in Wilmington, DE. You will handle payments, support phone inquiries, and maintain the counter and stock, while driving monthly sales goals.

Qualifications

• Sales experience and/or electrical knowledge preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong mathematics, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate information and present solutions to a customer.

• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in customers and assist with order and product selection.
• Enter sales orders and pick items from warehouse inventory.
• Prepare customer sales ticket and collect customer payment.
• Handle phone-in customers with courteous etiquette.
• Maintain counter area displays and stock inventory.
• Reach monthly goals in sales and gross margin.
• Encourage the use of digital tools across customer base.
• Multi-task and prioritize tasks throughout the day.
