Job summary

U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) is hiring a motivated Counter Sales Associate for our Stamford, CT location. You will assist customers at the sales counter, by phone, and via email, and manage quotes, orders, returns, and transfers.

Responsibilities include maintaining an organized counter and warehouse, supporting order fulfillment, and proactively tracking orders to ensure satisfaction. Prior customer service experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience is essential.
• Electrical product knowledge strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in warehouse conditions.
• Eagerness to learn and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers promptly at the sales counter, by phone, and through email.
• Create and manage sales orders, returns (RGAs), and inventory transfers.
• Provide quotes, place and process orders, and support walk-in customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized counter and warehouse area.
• Support order fulfillment, including stock placement, will call preparation, and general warehouse tasks.
• Proactively track and follow up on orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow all company procedures.
• Expand customer base and grow counter sales and profits.
• Other duties assigned by the manager.
