Job summary

U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) and Yale Electric Supply are seeking a motivated Counter Sales Associate for our Cinnaminson, NJ location. You will assist customers at the sales counter, by phone, and via email, while creating orders and processing returns to support a high‑quality customer experience.

Join a long‑standing electrical distributor with 2,000+ employees across 150 locations, and contribute to expanding the counter sales base in a team‑oriented warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service experience is essential.
• Electrical product knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic math skills and comfort using web browsers and data entry tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in warehouse conditions.
• Eagerness to learn and thrive in a team‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers promptly at the sales counter, by phone, and through email.
• Create and manage sales orders, returns (RGAs), and inventory transfers.
• Provide quotes, place and process orders, and support walk-in customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized counter and warehouse area.
• Support order fulfillment, including stock placement, will call preparation, and general warehouse tasks.
• Proactively track and follow up on orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow all company procedures.
• Expand customer base and grow counter sales and profits.
• Other duties assigned by the manager.
