Cooper Electric Supply, LLC, part of the Sonepar group, invites you to join a team serving electrical contractors across the northeast. The Fairfield, NJ location offers a full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm schedule with a comprehensive benefits package.

Greet walk-in customers, process orders, assist with product selection, and promote digital tools to grow sales while maintaining inventory and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Sales experience and/or electrical knowledge preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong mathematics, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate information and present solutions.
• Ability to operate computers and relevant software.
• Ability to prioritise needs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in customers and assist with orders and product selection.
• Enter sales orders and pick items from warehouse inventory.
• Prepare customer sales tickets and collect payments.
• Handle phone-in customers with courteous etiquette.
• Maintain counter displays, organize and stock inventory.
• Reach monthly goals in sales and gross margin.
• Encourage use of digital tools across the customer base.
• Multi-task and continually prioritise tasks throughout the day.
