Job summary

Echo Electric, a leading distributor of electrical products and a brand of Sonepar, seeks a motivated Counter Sales Representative to assist customers during the sales process, promote new products, and support warehouse functions. Shift: 7 AM–4 PM, M-F.

You will use ERP software to track orders, develop customer relationships, and ensure accurate documentation. A High School diploma and at least one year of electrical industry experience are required, with training available for EDGE and EPEC

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, as determined by Echo Electric.
• Minimum of one year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products.
• Ability to effectively communicate, stay organized and work within a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.
• Completion of EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level or commitment to complete such training within 18 months of starting job assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers during the sales process using ERP software, while maintain professional sales demeanor.
• Ability to track and fulfill sales orders by picking orders, creating appropriate documentation, and placing follow-up calls.
• Ability to maintain and develop customer relationships.
• Actively stay up to date on product knowledge and generate product stock request.
• Create and maintain positive working relationships and a safe and clean environment.
