Capital Electric in Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking a Counter Sales associate to sell products, assist customers with selections, and build relationships to keep Capital Electric the Distributor of Choice.

You will handle calls, greet walk-in customers, prepare sales tickets, and support warehouse tasks while aiming to meet monthly sales and gross margin goals. High school diploma required; lifting up to 50 lbs; training provided.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Sales experience and/or electrical knowledge preferred, but training will be provided.
• Good math, verbal, and written communication skills; able to use MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer phone calls.
• Greet walk-in customers and assist with product selection.
• Prepare customer sales tickets and process charges.
• Pull orders from warehouse and bring to counter.
• Promote and sell promotions; support warehouse functions.
• Work toward monthly sales and gross margin goals.
