Job summary

Viking Electric in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to be the welcoming face contractors rely on for selecting electrical products and getting back to job sites quickly.

You will take orders in person, by phone, and by email; greet customers; assist with requests; load orders; and share product information. This full-time role offers a daytime schedule, overtime may be available, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Able to lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds.
• Basic computer skills for entering orders.
• Willingness to learn about our products through on-the-job training.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Take orders in person, over the phone, and through email.
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the branch.
• Collaborate with customers to fulfill order requests.
• Load orders into customers' vehicles or delivery trucks.
• Provide product information to customers (training will be provided).
• Assist colleagues in the back-of-store warehouse as needed.
