Job summary

Viking Electric in Oshkosh, WI is hiring a Counter Sales Associate to be the welcoming face for contractors buying electrical products. You’ll help customers find items, take orders, and support the branch’s front-of-store operations.

This full-time role offers a daytime schedule 6:30am–3:30pm, competitive hourly pay ($22.00–$27.00), potential overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, dental and vision, PTO, 401(k), and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds as needed.
• Basic computer skills for entering orders.
• Willingness to learn about products through on-the-job training.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Take orders in person, over the phone, and through email.
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the branch.
• Collaborate with customers to fulfill order requests.
• Load orders into customers’ vehicles or delivery trucks.
• Provide product information to customers (training provided).
• Assist colleagues in the back-of-store warehouse as needed.
