Job summary

Viking Electric in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to welcome contractors and help them find electrical products. You will take orders in person, over the phone, and by email, greet customers as they arrive, and ensure they leave with what they need to keep job sites moving.

On a typical day you will load orders into customers’ vehicles, share product information (training provided), and assist the warehouse team when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds (moving with equipment).
• Basic computer skills for entering orders.
• Willingness to learn about our products through on-the-job training.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Take orders in person, over the phone, and through email.
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the branch.
• Collaborate with customers to fulfill order requests.
• Load orders into customers’ vehicles or delivery trucks.
• Provide product information to customers (training will be provided).
• Assist colleagues in the back-of-store warehouse as needed.
