Job summary

Viking Electric in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, is hiring a Counter Sales Associate to be the welcoming face for contractors purchasing electrical products. You will take orders, assist customers, and help fulfill requests on a typical 6:00am-3:00pm schedule.

The role offers full-time employment with hourly pay between $23 and $28, with overtime potential. Prior sales or retail experience is a plus, and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Basic computer skills for entering orders.
• Willingness to learn about our products through on-the-job training.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Take orders in person, over the phone, and through email.
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the branch.
• Collaborate with customers to fulfill order requests.
• Load orders into customers' vehicles or delivery trucks.
• Provide product information to customers (training will be provided).
• Assist colleagues in the back-of-store warehouse as needed.
