Job summary

Viking Electric in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to welcome contractors and help them find electrical products.

You will take orders, assist customers, load orders, and provide product information. Prior sales or retail experience is helpful and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and move with equipment.
• Basic computer skills for entering orders.
• Willingness to learn about products through on-the-job training.
• Authorized to work in United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Take orders in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the branch.
• Collaborate with customers to fulfill order requests.
• Load orders into customers' vehicles or delivery trucks.
• Provide product information to customers (training provided).
• Assist in the back-of-store warehouse as needed.
