Job summary

Sonepar is seeking a Counter Sales associate in Loveland, CO. You will handle customer orders by phone or in person, solicit new business, and coordinate with credit, warehouse, and management to fulfill orders.

The role offers competitive hourly pay, monthly commission, and full-time benefits. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm, with a posting closing date of November 14, 2026.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and technical procedures.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from small groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to perform math functions representative of the job such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, decimals and metric scales; computing rate, ratio, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of QED computer systems, Microsoft Office, etc.
• Must be a team player and abide by QED’s strong core values and beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by phone or in person to receive orders for products.
• Solicits sale of new or additional products.
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as liaison between customers and QED departments including credit, warehouse, outside sales and management.
• Identify products and pricing using catalog numbers, vendors and reference materials.
• Provide quotations or estimates of prices, terms and delivery for standard or non-standard merchandise.
• Prepare sales tickets with customer and product details for processing and delivery.
• Estimate delivery dates based on firm schedules and internal processes.
• Support purchasing procedures and inventory activities.
• Address billing or product complaints with designated departments for resolution.
