Job summary

North Coast, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Counter Sales professional to serve contractor, industrial and OEM markets in Oregon. You will handle quotations, order entry, tracking, and proactive customer service while building strong relationships with vendors and Will Call customers.

We value self-motivation, teamwork, and excellent communication; you may assist in warehouse tasks as needed, support merchandising, and contribute to growth opportunities while maintaining on-site

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience and product knowledge in the electrical field is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated problem solver in a team environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to improve skill level.
• Experience with Microsoft Office/Excel/Word.
• Proficiency in Solar Eclipse is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counter Sales for Contractor, Industrial & OEM Market
• Quotations, order entry, tracking and proactive Customer Service
• Counter and other sales/support duties as directed
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key vendors
• Commit to proactive and team approach to sales
• Identify and pursue gross margin and market share growth opportunities
• Promote heavily the DOTP (Deliver on the Promise) CSG's (Customer Service Guarantees) for increased share
• Relationship building with Will Call customers
• Daily merchandising display maintenance
• Helping warehouse as needed (wire cuts, filling orders, loading delivery truck)
• Other duties as assigned
