Job summary

North Coast Electric seeks a proactive Counter Sales representative to support contractors, industrial and OEM customers. You will handle quotations, order entry, tracking, and deliver proactive customer service while building strong vendor relationships.

Preferred candidates have prior electrical sales experience, solid MS Office skills, and a team-oriented mindset. This full-time role supports our Oregon operations with standard weekday hours and occasional extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in the electrical field is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated problem solver in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Counter Sales for Contractor, Industrial & OEM Market.
• Quotations, order entry, tracking and proactive customer service.
• Counter and other sales/support duties as directed.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key vendors.
• Identify and pursue gross margin and market share growth opportunities.
• Promote DOTP Customer Service Guarantees for increased share.
• Relationship building with Will Call customers.
• Daily merchandising display maintenance.
• Help warehouse as needed (wire cuts, filling orders, loading delivery truck).
• Other duties as assigned
