Job summary

Rexel USA is hiring a Counter Sales Lead for the Livermore, CA location. You will lead customer service, support orders and returns, and mentor Counter Sales Representatives. You’ll stay current on electrical products and help grow sales at the Rexel counter.

You’ll work with the branch team to stock, ship, and display products, while occasionally delivering orders. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred.
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• High School or GED - Required.
• Electrical product knowledge including lighting, switchgear, controls is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and processing of their orders or returns.
• Assist in driving electrical distribution sales for our counter business and developing new and existing customer relationships.
• Help train and mentor Counter Sales Representatives
• Stay informed and educated on product knowledge
• Inform manager of any hazard or elevated safety or customer-satisfaction situations
• Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter clean and organized
• May be required to perform other job functions within a branch including inside sales, orders, and shipping
• May be required to make deliveries up to 20% of the time
