Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Counter Sales Lead for the Platt team in Livermore, CA. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, driving counter sales, and mentoring junior staff.

You will train others, stay informed on electrical products, and support stock, order processing, and occasional deliveries. Candidates should have 4+ years in related roles and forklift certification, with a High School diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred.
• Previous branch experience preferred.
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• High School or GED - Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and processing of their orders or returns.
• Assist in driving electrical distribution sales for our counter business and developing new and existing customer relationships.
• Help train and mentor Counter Sales Representatives.
• Stay informed and educated on product knowledge.
• Inform manager of any potentially hazard or elevated situation pertaining to safety or the satisfaction of a customer.
• Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter clean and organized.
• May be required to perform other job functions within a branch when required including but not limited to inside sales, preparing and filling orders and/or receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material, and maintaining branch equipment.
• May be required to make deliveries up to 20% of the time.
