Job summary
Crayola in Easton, PA seeks an Electrical Electronic Technician to provide 24/7 high-level electrical engineering support across plant and facility systems. You will work on design, installation, debugging, commissioning of control systems, and drive capital projects to improve reliability and reduce operating costs.
The role requires seven years of manufacturing maintenance experience, an electronics/emechanical technology degree or Crayola apprenticeship, and strong PLC, servo drives, HMI/OIT
Qualifications
- Associate degree or diploma in electronics/electromechanical fields.
- 7+ years in manufacturing maintenance with electrical/control systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office; data collection a plus.
- Strong PLC, servo drives and HMI/OIT programming knowledge.
- Solid knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA and UL regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level control systems maintenance in a fast-paced plant.
- Lead continuous improvement and capital project initiatives.
- Design and upgrade control systems to modernize equipment.
- Read/read and create electrical prints, P&ID, and schematics.
- Coordinate with contractors and manage safety/regulatory compliance.
