Job summary

Enbridge Inc. in Reunion, FL is seeking an Electrical Controls Technician II to maintain and optimize station electrical and control systems.

You will troubleshoot switchgear, motors, generators, pumps, fans, and support PLC/HMI networks with a strong emphasis on safety and documentation. You will mentor less experienced technicians, coordinate with operations, and ensure compliance with NEC, PHMSA, EPA standards while rotating nights and weekends to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with trade certification or equivalent hands-on training.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to Enbridge safety policies.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical/control systems and document work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment at the station, including switchgear, motors, generators, pumps, and fans.
• Support and maintain control systems and networks, including PLCs, HMIs, and associated instrumentation.
• Maintain DC systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Inspect and maintain safety systems and emergency shutdown devices; document findings.
• Provide mentorship and support work planning and execution for teammates.
