Zen Sherpa LLC in Carrollton, TX is seeking an Electrical & Control Systems Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team responsible for plant electrical systems, automation, instrumentation, and controls.

You will drive reliability, modernization, and safe operation across multiple production areas, directing PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS architectures while managing capital projects from concept to commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in electrical, automation, or control systems engineering.
• 3+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, MCCs, VFDs, and instrumentation.
• Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and industrial networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop electrical, controls, and automation staff.
• Oversee electrical distribution, motor control, instrumentation and automation systems.
• Direct PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and industrial network architecture.
• Manage capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Support reliability improvements and root-cause analysis.
