Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Manager, Electrical & Controls Engineering for OneMHS in Atlanta to lead electrical power systems design, controls engineering, and a multi-disciplinary team.

You will oversee design, development, and field implementation of power distribution, control architectures, and safety systems for material handling projects, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of industrial controls and automation experience or Master’s degree
• Experience leading engineering teams and projects
• Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical codes
• Experience with VFDs, IPCs, PLCs, and SCADA systems

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and controls engineers to deliver safe, scalable power and control solutions for material handling projects.
• Set strategic direction, allocate resources, and drive on-time project delivery across multiple projects.
• Oversee design reviews, standards, and compliance with NEC/NFPA 70.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and project management teams to enable integrated solutions.
