Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking an experienced Electrical/Controls Engineer to design, program and maintain PLC systems across our North American facilities. You will lead safety initiatives, drive process improvements, and collaborate with operations to enhance reliability.

The role requires hands-on PLC expertise (Siemens STEP 7, Schneider Electric), strong AutoCAD documentation skills, and CMMS usage for maintenance planning and asset management. Onsite work in Morristown, TN is required.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years leading a plant maintenance department in industrial manufacturing.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or related field is required.
Experience with CMMS is preferred.
Experience in TPM or Reliability field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and modify PLC programs using Siemens STEP 7 and Schneider Electric PLC software.
Lead safety processes to prevent injuries and ensure employee safety.
Lead plant compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Drive plant/process improvements and set performance standards.
Collaborate with maintenance and operations to improve equipment reliability.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics; support system upgrades.
