Job summary

ProMach seeks an Electrical/Controls Engineer to design electrical controls for packaging machinery and material handling. You will contribute to BOM development, PLC and HMI programming, and provide hands-on startup and debugging support at customer sites.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 3 years of OEM experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, servo drives, and field wiring. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 3 years designing and implementing control solutions.
• Experience with PLCs and HMIs in an OEM environment.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC language is required.
• Familiarity with high-speed packaging or automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical controls for packaging machinery and material handling.
• Create BOMs, program PLCs, and configure HMIs.
• Assist startups, debugging, and provide training.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure NEC/IEC compliance.
• Travel up to 25% (including international).
