Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Project Leader 1 to oversee small electrical construction projects or parts of larger initiatives. You will supervise PM duties, coordinate with field teams, and ensure timely delivery within budget.

Strong communication and leadership are essential. The role requires a BS in a relevant field with 7+ years (or MS with 5+ years) and experience with Primavera scheduling. You will work on diverse systems including fire alarms, security, AV, and power in a dynamic,

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or Physics with 7+ years experience or 5+ years with MS degree.
• Proven PM experience supervising construction projects and leading diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist project Superintendent with project documentation, layout, and field office support.
• Develop resource-loaded CPM schedule with Primavera logic.
• Coordinate and run project kick-off meetings.
• Forecast cash flow and manpower needs for projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Develop budgets and cost codes with the superintendent.
• Prepare estimates and submittals for designs and changes.
• Meet with customers to present proposals.
• Ensure safety regulations and bid procedures are followed.
• Maintain project profitability and on-time completion.
