Job summary

OEG, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project team with cost tracking, schedule tracking, change orders, RFIs and submittals. The role focuses on coordinating design changes and maintaining logs for project submittals and RFIs.

The candidate should bring a construction management background or electrical apprenticeship and be able to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or an Electrical Apprenticeship, or equivalent experience of 3+ years.
• 3+ years of construction management experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of project controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tracking construction contract design changes and updates
• Tracking of project construction progress in addition to tracking job costs
• Coordinating design changes within construction team
• Assist with preparation of change orders and maintenance of project change order log
• Assist with development and maintenance of project schedule
• Assist with development and maintenance of submittals log and RFI logs
• Ability to prepare project submittals and submit written RFIs to client. Perform additional duties as assigned
