Job summary

OEG is an electrical contractor seeking an Electrical Construction Project Engineer in Mesa, AZ to support the project team with job cost tracking, schedule tracking, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.

You will coordinate design changes within the construction team, assist with change orders and maintain logs for project schedules and submittals. Travel up to 10% may be required as part of project support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, an electrical apprenticeship, or equivalent experience (3+ years).
• Leadership experience in a field environment is preferred.
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tracking construction contract design changes and updates.
• Tracking project construction progress alongside job costs.
• Coordinating design changes within the construction team.
• Assist with change orders and maintenance of change order log.
• Assist with development and maintenance of project schedules.
• Assist with development and maintenance of submittals and RFIs logs.
• Prepare project submittals and write RFIs to client.
